In the winter season at "Bayard Sports & Fashion" in Zermatt, ski gear and equipment are fitted and provided for rental to hundreds daily.
Perfect design in excellent quality and above all a smooth and functioning path flow were here the most central objectives in terms of the materials in creating a transition to the perfectly modeled store.
To meet these requirements, we developed two exceptional surfaces. The basic idea consisted of using earthy and natural, but smart materials. For this purpose we chose a special surface material inspired from a Scandinavian wood surface applied to genuine matured timber with deep cracks, which we have found well suited in using in the construction of chalets.
As a contrast, we also opted for steel which we finished with specific acids to create a unique, innovative surface.
